The Republican Global Friends Club emerged from a shared desire to connect Ambedkarite-minded NRIs across continents. Founded in the UAE, we serve as a bridge between grassroots communities abroad and the Republican Party of India (Athawale), offering diaspora-driven support for social reform in India.
Our Story & Origins

Leadership & Affiliation

We are proudly affiliated with the Republican Party of India (Athawale) (RPI(A)), led by Shri Ramdas Bandu Athawale, a long‑time Dalit leader, Rajya Sabha MP, and Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment in the Government of India (Wikipedia).

Shri Athawale founded RPI(A) in 1990 and has guided the party’s growth (especially in Maharashtra) while continuing the Ambedkarite tradition of constitutionalism, egalitarianism, and secularism (Wikipedia).
